Website
UCC Library
A university's libraries website, accessible and in several languages, built faithfully on the design the institution provided.

The challenge
The Library System of the Universidad Católica de Córdoba already had its identity and content structure defined. The challenge was not design but implementation: bringing a large site to WordPress, with five libraries and dozens of services, respecting the delivered design, with support for several languages and meeting the accessibility standards of an educational institution.
How I solved it
- I followed the university's design in detail. Since the identity and structure were already defined, my job was to implement them in WordPress with Elementor Pro without simplifying any piece, on desktop and on mobile.
- I made accessibility part of every page. A bar with text size increase and decrease, grayscale, high contrast, negative contrast, link underlining and a readable font accompanies the whole navigation. In an educational institution it is a requirement that runs through every section, not an add-on.
- I connected the services users already use. The Primo (Ex Libris) catalog, the MyLoft platform, Calendly appointments and the 360° virtual tours of each location are linked from the site.
- I organized services by who uses them. Students, faculty, researchers, alumni and outsiders each have their own path, for the five libraries: Jean Sonet, Dr. Gustavo Ortiz, Health Sciences, Colegio Máximo and Río Cuarto.
