Fluxa
An agency's website moved from WordPress to Astro, keeping the same addresses and with the old WordPress running separately.

The challenge
Fluxa is a business systems agency, and its website was built on WordPress with Elementor. It had to be rebuilt in Astro without changing the addresses it already had and without cutting off what was still in use from the old system: a payments page and a survey form.
How I solved it
- I kept the old site's addresses. I rebuilt Home, Growth, Web, CRM, Contact and Privacy on the same URLs. The two that changed (/contacto/ and /gracias/) redirect with a 301 to /contact/, so no link breaks.
- I left the old WordPress running separately. I moved it to a subdomain and redirected the payments page, the survey form and the admin login to it with 301s. What was still in use kept working, and the new site does not depend on it.
- I replaced the form with one of my own in PHP. It uses mail(), which already works on the hosting with no setup, so there is no plugin or key to maintain. It guards against spam with a honeypot field, a minimum fill time and a per-IP limit, and it also works without JavaScript.
- I set up automatic publishing. Every change pushed to GitHub is checked, built and uploaded over FTP without deleting anything on the server, so nothing else living on the same hosting gets overwritten.
